Believing that each PROPERTY owner has the right to know how the duties of the Assessor’s office affects them.” We have prepared a website as a service to taxpayers of St. John Parish. It explains the functions and duties of the Assessor, gives facts that each homeowner should know, and answers some of the most commonly asked questions about assessments and how it relates to taxes.
